1. What JurisOS Is
JurisOS operates a directory that lists independently practicing lawyers and law firms across India, searchable by city and practice area. JurisOS is not a law firm, does not employ any lawyer listed on this site, and does not provide legal advice or legal representation.
2. Listings Are Self-Reported
Profile information — practice areas, experience, credentials, and pricing — is provided by the listed lawyer or firm themselves. JurisOS does not independently verify every claim on a listing beyond what is stated in that listing's verification/claimed status. Visitors should independently confirm a lawyer's standing before proceeding, as they would with any professional found through any directory.
3. Responsibility for Listing Content
The lawyer or firm associated with a listing is solely responsible for the accuracy of the information on it. JurisOS may remove or edit a listing that appears inaccurate or misleading without prior notice.
4. No Attorney-Client Relationship With JurisOS
Using this site, browsing listings, or submitting a case inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship with JurisOS. Any such relationship, along with its terms, fees, and scope, is formed directly and solely between you and the lawyer or firm you choose to engage.
5. Case Submissions
When you submit a case through this site, the details you provide are shared directly with the specific lawyer or firm you selected, so they can respond to your inquiry. JurisOS does not guarantee that any lawyer will respond to, accept, or act on a submitted case.
6. Sasa AI Assistant
The chat assistant ("Sasa AI") helps you find relevant lawyers and guide articles based on what you describe. Its responses are informational only, generated by an AI model — they are not legal advice, do not create an attorney-client relationship, and should not be relied on as a substitute for consulting a qualified lawyer about your specific situation.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse this site — including submitting false information, attempting to access data that isn't yours, or using the site for anything unlawful.
8. Suspension & Removal
JurisOS may suspend or remove any listing, at its discretion, that it believes is fraudulent, impersonating another person or firm, or otherwise violates these terms — without prior notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
JurisOS provides this directory on an "as is" basis and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, is not liable for the conduct, advice, services, fees, or outcomes of any lawyer or firm listed on this site.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
